Default Part of the Clan at Goleta

My older brother and his wife from South Carolina are visiting Mom this week so we all decided to meet at Goleta pier for a visit. My younger brother, TINMAN and one of his sons drove down from San Jose, I drove from Bakersfield, and our niece from Lompoc and a nephew from Santa Barbara all got together.

Fishing was slow all morning with just the 3-4 small brown rock fish (SBRs) and one jack smelt but around noon it picked up and for an hour or two and we landed a dozen more SBRs and one 12" calico (mine).

We were using cured cut mackerel for bait and our group caught 10 times more fish than anyone else around us on the pier.

Hi Frank, nice to see you on the internet, we were roommates on the Q105. I last talked to Tom a couple of years ago, he was getting ready for a trout trip.
