Great report
Is the reel seat spot welded or pressed on ?

Hi Brorson,

Thank you for the reply. Actually I messed up as the water was 52.2 going to 52.7 .... not 56.7 ! Something quirky with my editor going from Word to a jpg file as the bold goes plain and plain to bold in the weather section ! wierd !!

The flats was only 54 degrees yesterday !! Now that's Yikes !!

Hi Tunamaster,

Thank you,

The foot was welded .... brazed on the two cross rods. Brass underneath then chromed finish .... I guess from the looks of it !! If I hadn't taken it to be repaired and the guy cut off one of the cross rods, I could have just attached the whole component to the two cross rods with plastic ties or something !! Now, I've got to go thru all this stuff !! Shouldn't have assumed the guy saw the logic of my bringing both the reel and the said intact frame (to be scrapped for said parts) with a simple explaination.

Await your next report ..... thread,

tsurikichi
