If it's a 3/4 day I usually go on the Tradition outta Redondo Sportfishing. They've been hitting Catalina usually. I'd bring setup's for 15-30# and you should be good.

LOL! expand on the set up of 15-30?? :-)
reel, line, pole? sinkers? lures? hooks, etc? I might need to remind you I had ADD a while back and when I was told about all these things I kind da...... didn't pay any attention??

but the latest I learned was about the led-less sinkers, :-) that stuck. so I have to get some of those, uh?? big 5? sugar! forgot where??? :-)

Rosi, Short trips are light tackle. Not as light as that rig you invented on the Darkside trip. 15# to 20# bottom rigs, various weights from 1oz to 8oz depending on what they are chasing for the day. It ranges from fly line to heavy drops. My advice - Bring what you have, flash those big eyes and a freindly smile at the best looking man on the boat, check that he has quality gear, and ask if he can help. Your sure to catch more than a few fish and you'll be an expert after a few trips.

that doesn't work, last time I asked that to Yutaka and he sent me to someone else! lol! (don't worry Yuti, I am not chasing you )
(I think I'm better off renting the tackle, I'm starting to feel crowded at my "depa")

anyhow, so what is the boat (s) name?
-Or just go to dave's locker and hopp on one?
