Has anyone tried one of those ticketbust.com services? Supposely they can help you to dismiss the ticket. The reason I ask because there are comments about this site they are worthless. They only take your money and you still have to pay the fine. I almost fell for it. Good thing my credit card company was able to refund me.

I was in small claims court last week trying to get the city to pay for a hole in my roof caused by a city tree. At least 30 or 40 people appeared in front of me for traffic cases. Mostly no license, no insurance or no registration. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The judge was slamming people hard. The minimum was $500 or $600. A lot of people were getting hit for a thousand or twelve hundred dollars. It was sure a wake up call for me.

They're forcing us off the water, they're forcing us off the streets. The man is trying to keep us down.

Is it just me or is it strange that parking in a Bus Zone (jerk thing to do but no lives endangered) is OVER twice as much as running a red light and more then FOUR times more that running a stop sign even when BOTH of these result in thousands of people killed / maimed a year?

Just sayin'

the city/state can't be responsible and is now broke. Guess who pays for it? make the next round of votes count people.

regarding the ticket negotiators, depends on the ticket i believe. i have had friends succeed before so sometimes it does work.
